Our story

Built because we couldn't keep up with our own habits.

Bordi didn't start with a pitch deck. It started with a phone call between two friends who were already obsessed with habits.

A camera, a whiteboard, and an idea.

Dustin called John with an idea. He'd been using the same physical habit tracker for years and loved it, but kept wishing he had the data. He knew John had a background in design and the same obsession with habits as building blocks to a good life. So he proposed: could we just attach a camera to it and get the benefits of a digital tracker on a physical board?

That was the beginning of Bordi!

"Decent habits can change your life. Most people already know what to do, they just need something to hold them to it."

Both John and Dustin believe that small, foundational habits like sleep, movement, and mindfulness are the ones that move everything else. Bordi exists to make those visible, not to nag you, but to make sure you can't miss them.

Years in the making

Getting a camera to reliably read handwritten habits on a whiteboard in various conditions without being intrusive or expensive took iteration after iteration. This photo might have been V3. What we sell now is V.... 100?

01

Visibility over reminders

You don't need another notification. You need your habits somewhere you can't ignore them. The position on your wall does the work.

02

Accountability, not tracking

The camera isn't there to judge you, it's there so you can see your own patterns and decide what to do about them.

03

Simple on purpose

A marker and a board. Deliberately analog, because habit tracking should not add complexity to your life. Most Apps are just too complicated.

If you've ever written down a habit and quietly stopped: Bordi was made for you.
